June 17th. Pffftttt… And they thought Bahrain was hot. Boo.
It was 102 here yesterday.
Brete Branon.
Austin, Tx.
The race will be in the morning to accomadate European TV (probably the same times as the Canadian GP next week).
Really? Where did you hear that?
How set are these dates anyway? I got screwed one year and missed the Australian GP cos they changed the date. I think it’s crappy of Bernie & Co to assume that the fans are fine with date changes, I’m not made of money! I’d e pisses if I’d booked travel for India
Only Monaco is set around Ascension Day (and it is set for as long as they hold the race). However, while the remainder are provisional, they generally will be as shown unless one race gives a good reason for it to be moved.
All F1 TV is timed for afternoon/early evening in Europe if possible. Australia, Malaysia and China have been the exceptions.
Don’t forget Japan and Korea or the relevant ones – Canada and Brazil. I really don’t think the USGP will be a mornning race. Canada starts at 1pm local and having the race start at 8 or 9pm (ie 1 or 2pm local) is not a big deal at all. That’s what it is for Canada and Brazil
Hope those fellow recall hot hot it was in Dallas.
What a complete mess F1 is today.
21 Races! Jesus!
I love F1, but really, that’s going to be hell for F1 people. Surely that’s been done in the expectation that at least one race is dropped.
Oh, sheesh, too hot in Austin in June? First people carp because we lose the USGP, then that the Austin venue will be a complete fail and an embarrasment, now the USGP is back on the schedule and we’re griping because its going to be too hot? No wonder Bernie doesn’t want a USGP. Malaysia, Turkey, Spain, Brazil & Abu Dhabi aren’t exactly the arctic either.
