No Stefan GP on 2010 entry list

Stefan GP does not appear on the 2010 entry list, which was finally issued tonight. It contained a note that confirmed that US F1 has indicated that it will not participate in 2010, while for the first time Sauber has appeared. Bizarrely the team is still listed as ‘BMW Sauber’ despite discussions about a name change.

Bruno Senna is the only driver listed for HRT.

  1. I never thought I’d see the day when ‘Lotus Racing’ was again listed as an entrant!

Never thought I’d see “Lotus Racing” with Malaysia as the country, neither!

Got to love that BMW Sauber Ferrari.

How can the people responsable for USF1 and Stefan GP be so stupid to not have joined? One had the car, the other had a spot. Each had only one driver.
    Incredible.
The USA deserves to be vanished from F1 for 10 years for this.

One thing I’m not clear about is the actual status of BMW Sauber. Are they considered a “new” team as Brawn was last year? How will the payouts from FOM be handled for last year and the coming years.?

  6. Steve

I would guess they are not considered a new team, but I have no clue…anyone?
